UNIVERSITY
CENTRE
- Mr Archibald Campbell appointed to the post of University Bursar/Chief Financial Officer for five years, with effect from July 1, 2010.
- Dr Bhoendradatt Tewarie reappointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor, Planning and Development, for a further 3-year term, effective August 1, 2010.
- Professor Alvin Wint reappointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor, Undergraduate Studies, for a further period of three years, effective August 1, 2010.
- Professor Verene Shepherd appointed to the post of University Director, Regional Co-ordinating Unit of the Institute for Gender and Development Studies at Mona, for three years in the first instance, with effect from August 1, 2010.
- Dr. Barbara Carby, appointed to the post of Director of the Disaster Risk Reduction Centre, Office of the Vice Chancellor, Mona, for three years with effect from April 1, 2010.
- Mrs. Judith Nelson, from the accounting firm DeLoitte & Touche, was appointed to the post of University Management Auditor, in succession to Mr. Ronald Ottley.

- Appointment of Professor Joseph M. Branday, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cave Hill, for four years with effect from August 1, 2010.
- Promotion to the rank of Professor, Dr. Ian Hambleton, Senior Lecturer at the Chronic Disease Research Centre of the Tropical Medicine Research Institute, Cave Hill Campus effective February, 2010.
- Appointment of Ms. Lisa Alleyne as Campus Bursar, Cave Hill, for a period of five years in the first instance, effective June 1, 2010.
- Conferral of the honorary title, Distinguished Fellow, on Dr. Rosina Wiltshire, an international public official in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on attachment to the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) at Cave Hill, for the period two years from August 1, 2010.
- Conferral of the honorary title, Visiting Professor (Surgery), on Professor Richard Rosin, on attachment to the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cave Hill, for a further period of two years, from August 1, 2010.
- Appointment of Professor Nigel Unwin, Chair in Public Health and Epidemiology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cave Hill, for three years in the first instance, with effect from August 9, 2010.
- Approval of request by Professor Winston Tinto , Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, to spend his Sabbatical year in the Department of Plant Science, at South Dakota University and in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Prince Edward Island to engage in two research projects: gene regulation of the biosynthesis of flavonoids and the application of data metabolomics for the profiling of secondary metabolites in medicinal plants.
- Deferral of Special Leave for Scholarly Purposes, granted to Professor Gladstone Yearwood, Director, Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination, Cave Hill to Semester II of the academic year 2009/2010.
