READING ROOM
The Reading Room holds the collection of reading resources on gender studies for the centre. Its collection includes: books, pamphlets, conference papers, working papers, periodicals, newspaper clippings on matters related to gender, and reports from organizations such as UNIFEM and CAFRA. This facility occupies a very small space in the Unit, but despite this limitation it caters to a fairly large and varied population, consisting mainly of undergraduate and post graduate students on campus, as well as different categories of local and international researchers from inside as well as outside the Caribbean.

OPENING HOURS
The Reading room is opened Monday to Friday during the Semester. The Centre welcomes students and visitors and extends its resources to groups of all kinds and ages. However, because of the absence of a fulltime documentalist reservations should be made in advance by contacting t the Unit between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at (876) 927 – 1913. The Reading Room is closed Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays. Reservation should be made at least one day in advance to ensure access to the resources.
REGULATION
Backpacks and other large bags or items are not allowed in the Reading Room.
