Improving Competitiveness of Creative MSMEs Grant: Film

The Cultural and Creative Industries Innovation Fund (CIIF) of the CDB has issued a call for proposals seeking proposals within the film industry that provide solutions or resources for a wide stakeholder base.

Projects should be:

  • collaborative, with partners from no less than 3 countries from among CDB’s borrowing member countries
  • sustainable in facilitating long term access by stakeholders to resources and continues growth of the initiative
  • innovative by providing new models, opportunities or uses of technology for the industry or facilitating linkages between creative industries sub-sectors.

The CIIF is especially interested in projects that include inter-sectoral linkages surrounding climate change or renewable energy.

Funding Information:

The selected project will receive a grant of up to USD$50,000. The CIIF will provide 85% of the projects costs, while the grantee that is selected is required to contribute 15%.

Eligibility: 

Governments, Business Support Organisations, Universities, Non-Governmental Organisations and Legally Registered Creative Enterprises.

Eligible organizations must be registered in  one of CDB’s 19 Member Borrowing Countries, some of which include: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago.
