Supporting the Integration of deported Jamaican migrants incarcerated in the United Kingdom and their families into the Jamaican community.

This EC-UN Joint Migration & Development Initiative grant Agreement, is a Micro-Capital Grant Agreement for Non-Credit Related Activities. It was carried out in partnership with the Female Prisoners Welfare Project (FPWP) Hibiscus.

It was initiated to support Jamaican migrants deported from the United Kingdom and their Families.to harness their capacities to contribute to the socio-economic development of Jamaica. It sought to foster the integration of these deported migrants into the Jamaican community by rights awareness workshops and action research workshops, field research and dissemination of research results via the media and protecting the rights of their children, particularly those of Jamaican women who were incarcerated in the United Kingdom.
