LECTURER REGIONAL COORDINATING UNIT (RCU)
CENTRE FOR GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (CGDS)
QUALITIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Gender and Development Studies or in a related discipline with at least five years experience in teaching and research at the tertiary level.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage the graduate programmes in Gender and Development Studies
- Prepare, deliver and assess courses in the graduate programmes.
- Supervise research projects and theses of graduate students in the M.Sc., MPhil and PhD programmes.

COMPETENCIES
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively with academic staff within and outside of the CGDS
- Strong pedagogical skills in terms of design, delivery and assessment of graduate level courses
- Ability to supervise graduate research projects and theses
