The UWI Alumni Association (Barbados) Chapter donates tablets to the Cave Hill Campus

President of The UWI Alumni Association (Barbados) Chapter Mr. Dario Welch recently donated five tablet computers to the Cave Hill Campus for loan to current students. The tablets are to assist students in need of appropriate devices to facilitate their studies in the current hybrid learning environment triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The donation was made in response to a Technology Initiative launched by the Alumni Office of the Student Enrolment and Retention Unit (SERU) to expand the pool of devices available to the Unit for loan to deserving students.

Deputy Principal Professor Winston  Moore (left) received the devices on behalf of the Campus and thanked the Alumni Association for their support to current students.
