SLIDE SHOW: International Museum Day

It’s been a good day of collaboration between the University of the West Indies (UWI) Museum and the Jamaica Military Museum, with the Jamaica German Society also giving assistance. Here’s a slide show of some of the pictures. Thanks to those who participated and to those, including our colleagues at the University Archives and other offices of the UWI Regional HQ, who assisted.
We’ll keep the pop-up exhibition, minus the weapons which the military police must keep secure, for an extra week. The focus is on the internment camps including the Mona Family Camp at the northern end of the lower level of the Gibraltar Camp; now part of the UWI Mona campus.
