The UWIMAA has Partnered with Internal Medicine Learning Collaborative to Share Lecture Series to UWI Medical Alumni Across the World.

Dr. B. Permashwar is the founder and director of the Internal Medicine Learning Collaborative series carried in the UWI Alumni Soft and Life Skills Series -he sees this as a simple way of sharing medical knowledge and expertise and promoting collaboration with physicians to achieve better patient experience and outcome. Dr. Permashwar studied medicine at the UWI, Mona and graduated in 1995. 

He is board-certified in Family Medicine, did his fellowship in Geriatrics and Faculty Development, and is working as a physician in North Carolina. The UWIMAA looks forward to continuing working with Dr. Permashwar and his team-tune in to lecture series next year!
