Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is hiring a Group Web Administrator (56038) on Caribjob today.More details about this job are below:The selected candidate will have responsibility to provide the relevant business units with the support necessary to facilitate improved business practices using existing web-based software, including the testing of upgrades and modifications to the systems. Conduct demonstrations and training sessions in the use of web applications and provide client service support to user issues. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the security system access to the assigned web applications.
  • Check and analyze Load Errors on assigned web applications to determine reasons for errors.
  • Monitor movement of pending enrollments to ensure timely processing, liaising directly with Shared Services IT when necessary.
  • Report on the extent of access by category of user (Client/ Group Insurance Administrator/ Broker/ Members).
  • Train web application users, including developing any presentation material required, such as charts and other graphic displays.
  • Ensure Frequently Asked Questions and documents posted for each web application is correct and up-to-date.
  • Fulfill reporting requirements concerning assigned duties, including progress reports on special projects and problems experienced.
  • Manage and test the Sagicor Connect application.
  • Execute regression testing, following system updates.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.

Academic Qualifications/ Specialized Skills/ Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies or a relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution. 
  • Completion of FLMI & HIAA designations.
  • Two (2) years’ working experience in a similar capacity within the insurance industry.
  • Sound knowledge of office automation, IT techniques and practices.
  • Sound knowledge of Sagicor Connect, Genelco Group Plus and Group Web applications.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
