U.S. Embassy in Trinidad & Tobago is hiring a Management & Quality Control Coordinator on Caribjob today.More details about this job are below:DutiesUnder the direction and supervision of the Management Officer, the incumbent serves as the Management and Quality Coordinator in the Management Section at Embassy Port of Spain which is comprised of 160 employees and a $16 million annual budget. Responsibilities include working with senior management and Section staff on ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness operations; collecting and analyzing management data to inform decision making; as well as achieving organizational excellence through appropriate performance measurement and implementation of quality management systems. Incumbent will also provide support to various Management sections as needed. Qualifications and EvaluationsRequirements:EXPERIENCE:  Three years of extensive experience in progressively challenging positions in administration, business process management, computer sciences, IT management, or office management with customer service experience included.JOB KNOWLEDGE: The job holder must have a comprehensive knowledge of administrative support services, including procurement, and the inventory process to provide detailed and satisfactory services to management customers. Additionally, incumbent must have strong knowledge of the effective use of computer operating systems and office productivity software to prepare the job aids, product manuals, instruction guides, and presentation slides, all of which should be written for a non-technical customer. Incumbent must have knowledge of process analysis and organizational management. Must have a good understanding of Mission policies and U.S. government personnel regulations and procedures. Must have some familiarity with the Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) and Department organization. Must know how to operate in a service-oriented organization.Education Requirements:Two years of college or universities studies.Evaluations:LANGUAGE: Level IV English speaking and reading.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Must be able to gather facts/analyze results relevant to specific issues, formulate conclusions, and make recommendations for action. Familiar with analytical methods involving qualitative and quantitative techniques for data analysis. Must be able to work well with individuals across several organizations and across cultures. Must have excellent interpersonal, briefing, and writing skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and other general software applications. Incumbent will also need the ability to consult and explain technologies to non-technical users. S/he also should be able to self-teach new technologies, modify existing processes and procedures, and utilize good communication skills to articulate user needs and system requirements. Incumbent also must analyze and understand the needs of all users while establishing guidelines, drafting instruction manuals, and conducting user training at different skill levels Mission-wide. Position must be able to obtain and hold Secret Clearance. Must have a valid driver’s license.
