“Chappie” Closes March is Movie Month Series

The final Movie Month activity, on March 30 will feature a documentary film with Cinematographer and Lecturer, Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), Franklyn St. Juste. Mr. St. Juste has directed a number of award winning documentaries and has also worked on feature films such as The Harder They Come.  The presentation is

“Chappie” Closes March is Movie Month Series

The final Movie Month activity, on March 30 will feature a documentary film with Cinematographer and Lecturer, Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), Franklyn St. Juste. Mr. St. Juste has directed a number of award winning documentaries and has also worked on feature films such as The Harder They Come.  The presentation is entitled, “Originations and Reflections on the Search for A Caribbean Aesthetic.” The event is set for 6 pm at the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1), UWI, Mona. 
 
Previous speakers in the Series include  filmmaker and author, Barbara Blake-Hannah; Chris Browne, Director of Third World Cop and Ghett’A Life; and Storm Saulter, Director of Better Mus’ Come and activist filmmaker, Esther Figueroa. 
 
All are invited to attend the event. Admission is FREE.
