2. Does Jamaica have both the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes?
No. There are NO Aedes albopictus mosquitoes in Jamaica at this time.Aedes aegypti, however, is endemic to Jamaica and is the same mosquito that transmits the dengue fever virus.
