The School of Education at UWI, Mona has organized a Forum on Education under the theme, “Education Transformation – Determining the Gain and Refocusing on the Challenges.” The event takes place on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 5 pm at Lecture Theatre 1, Faculty of Law, UWI, Mona.

The main speakers on this occasion will be Dr. Disraeli Hutton, Lecturer, UWI, Mona and Jean Hastings, Director, Education Systems Transformation Programme, Ministry of Education. Other speakers include: Ronald Thwaites, Opposition Spokesperson on Education, Paul Adams, President, Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA), Sharon Reid, President, Jamaica Association of Secondary School Principals, Ruel Reid, Principal, Jamaica College and Jovaughn Neil, Immediate Past Guild President, UWI, Mona.
