UWI Civil Engineering Students Say Thank You
Saying thanks! UWI Civil Engineering Students said a big THANK YOU to the sponsors Dr. Elaine Bryan & Gregory Bryan – Chair and Vice Chair of the Elaine Bryan Foundation who visited Jamaica to meet with the students at the Mona School of Engineering UWI Mona who benefitted from the donations of Dell Laptops.
Dr. Elaine Bryan is an entrepreneur and former educator, with a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. She founded the Elaine Bryan Foundation to make significant civic and educational contributions in both her local community as well as the global community. The foundation was established in 2010 as a platform for fulfilling her life’s purpose to empower today’s youth. Grant-Bryan received the Atlanta Mayor Phoenix Award, the Judge Glenda Hatchett Mentorship Award for outstanding service in the field of education, the Turner Broadcasting Educator Award, and the Georgia School Counselor of the Year Award. Grant-Bryan is an alumna of Leadership Sandy Springs, Northwestern University, and University of West Georgia. She is a financial columnist, Empowerment Speaker, and Real Estate Broker. Elaine is guided by her trademark: The What What What Approach – what you do with what you have determines what you become. She has been assisting UWI students with computers for years and The UWI appreciates her generous and continued support. She is also assisting UWI alumni in the Atlanta area to come together to have an annual social event and to eventually form a UWIAA Chapter.
