Minister of Health, Dr. Fenton Ferguson will speak at the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Annual Nephrology Conference organized by Caribbean Institute of Nephrology, in collaboration The University of the West Indies, Mona, University of Michigan and University of Minnesota. The Conference which will focus on Nephrology and Hypertension is set to take place on January 24-26 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.

The Conference is an opportunity to bring together especially scientists, academics and healthcare providers to advance the science of kidney disease and patient care. Treatment strategies, screening the at risk population for kidney diseases, discourse on healthy lifestyle and aims to reduce the prevalence of the disease will be highlighted. Ground breaking research in the field of hypertension, lipids and kidney diseases will be highlighted.
