UWI Mona Researchers make discoveries about the beloved Jamaican favourite - the Avocado Pear - and its link to lower rates of prostate cancer. Plus, a startling finding about Omega Threes: Proof that they may increase the risk of Prostate Cancer in men. Dr Maria Jackson, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community Health and Psychiatry at The UWI, Mona and Principal Investigator of the study explains.
