The University of the West Indies Press and Lexington Books will launch two recent books on slavery in the Caribbean. They are: Aboliton and Plantation Management in Jamaica (1807 - 1838) and  Agency of the Enslaved - Jamaica and the culture of freedom in the Atlantic world
