She will speak on the topic for 30 minutes. This will follow 7-minute comments by three discussants. A moderated, interactive discussion will take place at the close of the three presentations.
About the theme
The theme was conceptualized from the programme activities of the UWI Township Project and the plethora of activities organized by community based organizations in Greater August Town for the improvement in lives of residents. This dedicated work spans more than 30 years with the University’s own involvement with residents dating back to when it was a college.
The panel discussion is expected to probe the trajectory of need for Greater August Town, while at the same time addressing the critical issues of dependence, interdependence, development and sustainability.
