The Vice Chancellery, commonly referred to as the 'Centre', is the University of the West Indies' central administrative arm and comprises twenty-five units, which assist the Vice Chancellor in the running of the University.

The fifteen other units consist of teaching and research centres located on any one or more of the three UWI campuses, as well as outreach departments in University Centres located in each of the thirteen 'non-campus' countries. The 'Centre' is often viewed as a virtual campus of the UWI dealing with University-wide matters.
