LIFE ADAPT'ISLAND Project

Since July 2019, the Grand Port Maritime of Guadeloupe (GPMG) has been awarded a European LIFE funding (4,726,970€), therefore reinforcing its commitment towards environmental management. The main scientific challenge of the LIFE ADAPT'ISLAND project is to develop nature-based solutions in order to adapt the Guadeloupean territory to current and future effects induced by climate change.

Adaptation Without Borders

The Adaptation Without Borders Initiative (AWBI) is a global partnership that draws attention to the transboundary and systemic nature of climate risk. The Initiative makes the case that building global resilience to climate change requires action and coordination on a truly global scale, in ways that account for such cascading risks.
