Global Sport, Discrimination and Reparative Justice
Level the playing field
Sport is more than competition – it’s culture, identity, economy and power. And in a world reckoning with systemic injustice, sport has become a critical arena for resistance and repair.

The ISDJ’s Global Sport, Discrimination and Reparative Justice program explores the intersections of athletics, racial justice, postcolonial legacies and equity.

Sport remains one of the world's most visible arenas for both discrimination and change. This programme develops an understanding of the historical forms of discrimination in global sport including race and ethnicity, gender inequality, governance inequalities, ableism, and exclusion — and equips practitioners with the analytical tools and strategies to advance reparative justice through policy and programming.
