Former Senator Delano Franklyn – A True Jamaica Patriot, Businessman and Statesman
Former Senator Franklyn was a practicing attorney-at-law and businessman. He was the managing partner of the Law Firm, Wilson & Franklyn, which was founded in 1998.
He was the chairman of Lano’s Transport and Rental Company Limited, Director of Cochen Experience Limited, Jamaica Cricket Foundation Development Limited, Invictus Education Solutions Limited and Wilson and Franklyn Publishing Company.
Sir Frank Alleyne fondly remembered as a “Total UWI Product”
It is with a sense of deep appreciation for his sterling contribution, and profound sadness at his death, that The University of the West Indies marks the passing of Sir Frank Alleyne, former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Sir Frank was affectionately regarded as a “total UWI product” for his decades of association with The UWI Cave Hill as a student, lecturer and administrator.
