The first event, UWI Life Support, took place on Thursday, August 29, 2013. The event targeted parents, guardians and spouses of all first-year students to establish a preliminary relationship between the support network and the University, equipping them to better assist students as they make the transition to university life. The second event on August 30, 2013, the UWI Life Student orientation, was the forum through which all first-time undergraduate, evening, part-time and postgraduate students were welcomed to the Campus.
