Spirit of Chocolate

The CRU, one of the premier inhabitants of the community of The UWI, has a rich legacy as it is the successor to the Cocoa Research Scheme of the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture which started work on cocoa as early as 1930.
As one of the events planned to mark this historic milestone, the CRU hosted a “Spirit of Chocolate” Festival at the Hilton Trinidad on July 21, 2012. It was an evening dedicated not only to pleasure for the senses but to encourage investors to see the endless possibilities and creations offered by chocolate – and the cocoa industry.
