Alumni Relations AWARDS 2023

The Director of Alumni Relations for the UWI,

Mrs. Davidson Francis

introduced the

Alumni Relations Institutional Advancement Division (IAD) Awards

in 2018 to recognize and celebrate the UWIAA Chapters and individuals who excelled annually in terms of service to the UWI and in helping further build “One UWI, One Alumni Family.” The awards are presented annually at the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting.

The Awards for 2022 were presented at the CEC 2023 meeting on March 25th as follows:

UWIAA International Chapter Abeng Collaboration Award 2022

UWIAA New York, Florida, Washington DC and Toronto Chapters

Most Dynamic New Chapter – UWIMAA South Florida 2022

Dr. Tanya Clarke

UWIAA Contact Long Service Award 2022

Dr. Lloyd Stanford

Campus Alumni Officer – UWI STAT Support Award 2022

Roseanne Maxwell – Cave Hill

Campus Alumni Officer – Outreach Award 2022

Sandra Griffith Carrington – Open Campus

The UWIAA International Chapters each received a Special Award Certificate. A donation on behalf of these Chapters in the name of the "Abeng Book Club Collaboration" was also made to the

UWIAA Every Dollar Makes a Difference UWI 75th Student Scholarships.

Dr. Tanya Clarke and Dr. Lloyd Stanford also received Special Award Certificates and donations in their names to the UWIAA Every Dollar Makes a Difference Student Scholarships.

The Campus Alumni Officers each received personalized Award Certificates and Amazon Gift cards.

All the awardees are being highlighted in the April UWI Nexus in order to highlight their dedication to alumni engagement, as well as their loyalty and service to their Alma Mater.
