The Cave Hill Campus Development and Endowment Fund launched in July 2003 and provides a vehicle for donors to make tax-deductible contributions to UWI. The Fund is established as a charitable trust in Barbados. Donors can make tax deductible financial contributions by Deed of Covenant over a three year period in accordance with the laws of Barbados.
Financial contributions may also be tax deductible for donors in the United States through the American Foundation for UWI, a registered 501 (c) 3 organisation. Donors have only to designate the Cave Hill Campus Development and Endowment Fund as the beneficiary.
A Board of Trustees, headed by Mr. Paul Altman, Managing Director of AAAltman Real Estate, manages the Fund. The Fund has been mandated to raise US$35 million to support the long term infrastructural development programme of the Campus and build an endowment for the future.
We are eager to have you join our growing list of corporate partners, who have made generous contributions in support of the Campus’ strategic objectives.

Our Benefactors' Honour Roll provides a list of private companies and individuals, Government and Statutory Agencies, development and donor agencies, Private Foundations and Non-Governmental Agencies and international partners who provided support to UWI from 2004 to 2007.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our governmental stakeholders, our private sector partners, our regional and international donor friends and our alumni for their support and look forward to the continuation of our partnership for the further development of the University and the Caribbean people we serve.
