Chancellor Sir George Alleyne was conferred the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa by the chancellor of the University of Toronto Michael Wilson. Sir George and Lady Sylvan were hosted by the UWIMAA Canadian Chapter along with Canadian alumni and trainees.
