A contingent of students and faculty from the University of Costa Rica are visiting the UWI, Mona Campus as part of the annual exchange programme from January 19 to February 2, 2013.
The Graduate Nurses Association Canada was formed in 1983.
They host an annual fundraising event ad have given funds to assist students with scholarships and provide equipment such as fibrulators and incubators to the UWI.
The University of the West Indies (UWI) Museum is a space for the university to recall its heritage and affirm its continuing relevance to the Caribbean region and beyond. It is located in the UWI Regional Headquarters Bulding, on Hermitage Road, Kingston 7, Jamaica.
The Museum's aim is to to engage with the university’s widespread audiences and to enhance learning within and without. To do this, we will collaborate with stakeholders within the university, with alumni and with the broader community.

This agreement has been designed to protect the e-mentors and the e-mentees. It covers the definition of an e-mentor/mentee, confidentiality, inappropriate communications and ending your involvement with the programme. These guidelines are here to help, but they may be subject to change and revision in light of experiences. If you feel there are any areas that are not covered here, they should be brought to the attention of the IAD at iad@alumni.uwi.edu. Both E-mentors and E-mentees will be asked to agree to the terms of this agreement.
The International Centre for Caribbean Language Research (ICCLR) is a research working group with a regional focus. With its operations based within the office of the Jamaican Language Unit on the UWI, Mona campus, the ICCLR will be networking with its regional membership, to carry out a number of projects; namely:

The British Foundation for The University of the West Indies (BFUWI) is a UK registered charity. It was formally established in London in January 2009 as a UK registered charity (no. 1127408).
It is working to build partnerships and collaborations with UK universities and colleges as it expands its global footprint and to make The UWI well known in the United Kingdom. It also seeks to attract benefactor donations and corporate funding to finance student scholarships nstitutional strengthening and more. It continues to proudly support the UWI as it srives to become firmly recognised globally or all things Caribbean.

The objectives of the British Foundation for The University of the West Indies are:
To establish, promote and develop mutually beneficial relationships with key UK universities, colleges and corporations.
To innovate diverse ways of translating the support of well-wishers in the UK into tangible benefits for the University and the Caribbean Region
To raise funds for the UWI from the UK in a tax efficient manner from all possible sources – individuals, companies, organizations, partnership arrangements
To facilitate positive and informed awareness-raising of the UWI and the wider issue of Caribbean development in the UK context
To work with and encourage the support of alumni in the UK through the UWIAA UK for BFUWI activities and events
