WOW 2014

{gallery}http://www.flickr.com/photos/theuwi/sets/72157642499458743/{/gallery} As part of the World of Work 2014 programme, students were given the opportunity to network in a social event with over 50 human resource professionals. With the introduction of this Networking workshop, the WOW programme changed from theory only to theory and practical. It remains an optional workshop to attend as part of the WOW activities for students. The event took place on February 20, 2014.

The University of the West Indies (UWI) and Republic Bank World of Work (WOW) programme is an initiative geared primarily toward equipping final year UWI students with the necessary tools for succeeding in today’s work environment. Since its inception, WOW has attracted an ever increasing number of participants over its twelve years of existence. More than 1,300 final year students participated in WOW 2013, with several students obtaining interviews and job offers. Come to World of Work 2014 to get advice from employers and leading experts, practice your interviewing skills and meet recruiters from international and local organisations.
