UWI Life 2013

{gallery}http://www.flickr.com/photos/theuwi/sets/72157643649523314/{/gallery} New students at The UWI St. Augustine Campus had a lot to look forward to on August 29th and 30th 2013 as the campus kicked off its official 2013 orientation programme, UWI Life, at The UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC). UWI Life 2013 was the official student orientation programme for new students and gave them the opportunity to meet other students, the Campus Principal, Professor Clement Sankat; Faculty Deans, and Heads of Departments.

The first event, UWI Life Support, took place on Thursday, August 29, 2013. The event targeted parents, guardians and spouses of all first-year students to establish a preliminary relationship between the support network and the University, equipping them to better assist students as they make the transition to university life. The second event on August 30, 2013, the UWI Life Student orientation, was the forum through which all first-time undergraduate, evening, part-time and postgraduate students were welcomed to the Campus. This event included interactive games, giveaways and live entertainment.
