High winds hit the area sending two houses crashing to the ground up rooted coconut trees and ripped off zinc sheets from several buildings. High winds and rainfall. There was 1 death, 4 wounded and 8 persons evacuated.

Winds of some 40 knots lashed the entire coastland causing power poles and trees to be snapped. 2 deaths occurred, 12 homes destroyed, 35 homes affected, and 78 persons had to be relocated.

Farmers of Canal #2 have been having steadily rising water on their farmlands since April 28. heavy rainfall has been experienced and has caused flooding in many areas. The water was coming primarily from Crown Lands which was supposed to be drained by the Potos Koker which had been blocked since the previous year. One farmer has 2.43 hectares of cane under water. A 4yr old boy drowned in his back yard as a result of the flooding. Heavy rainfall is the cause of the flooding.
